Frequently Asked Questions

How quickly can we implement Lollipop?
Most companies are live within 24-48 hours. Upload your employee list, customize your settings, and start. No IT project required. If your company hierarchy is complex, our implementation team will make sure the right information gets to the right people.
Do employees need smartphones?
No. Lollipop works via text on any phone, including flip phones. We also offer email check-ins, and WhatsApp check-ins in any country: contact us to set them up.
Will managers see individual responses?
Yes. Check-ins are attributed to employees so managers can provide meaningful support. We build trust through action, not anonymity. Supervisors only see their team's data; HR administrators see all company data.
What if employees don't want to participate?
Check-ins are encouraged, not mandatory. Our "request follow up" process lets employees who check in low decide if they want someone to follow up. Even without requested follow-up, supervisors get awareness to be more understanding when interacting with that employee.
Doesn't this create more work for managers?
The opposite is true. Managers spend maybe 5 minutes per week maximum but save hours of crisis management by catching issues early. Our training library gives them scripts and tools so they feel confident addressing concerns.
Can we customize the check-in questions?
No - and that's intentional. We use one consistent question to keep things simple and focused on what matters: how your employees feel. This avoids survey fatigue and ensures reliable signals. We're not here to replace HR surveys - we're here to build emotional insight and human connection. The power is in the simplicity.
